We spent our last 2 days in San Dimas hiking around Bonelli Park, which is the future site of the 2028 Olympics Mountain Biking events! These hikes were so much fun, & the weather was absolutely beautiful. And the fact that we could hike straight from our campsite was a huge plus!

TJ replaced a broken switch (I’m so proud of this guy – he can figure out anything).

We had a couple slow mornings, making breakfast on the griddle & playing frisbee.

We spent a wonderful evening with our cousins.

We had lunch at Norm’s Hangar watching the planes come & go – another thing we could hike to from our campsite!

TJ took Chase to an RC car course & shop in town.

It’s really hard to be in our town that’s not our home anymore. We keep being reminded of what we’re leaving. We sometimes feel like we don’t belong anywhere. We’re the “new kids” everywhere we go. But, being here this last week, so close to family, also reminded us of why we’re doing this – to be closer to our entire family in Ohio.
