Today we DIDN’T wake up at 4:30. We woke up at 9 & made breakfast together outside. Our only plan was to stay home. We’d hiked 13 miles in the last 2 days. We’d earned it!
Aside from doing nothing, Sofina & I still rode scooters, the boys swatched Battle Bots, Sofina & a friend video-chatted & played Bloxburg online, & TJ took the kids to the clubhouse to play pool (they ran into an older man there who showed them some trick shots, too).
There were also boring, life things like dumping the tanks, showering, laundry, & washing dishes. I don’t even mind hand-washing dishes. I’ve adapted to using LESS dishes when I cook – also, those pre-made, bagged salads can totally be mixed IN their bags – I don’t need no stinkin’ mixing bowl & tongs.
TJ helped our new neighbor get his trailer unhitched from his truck. I spent 8 hours writing & editing pictures. And, we did a little research on our next stop: Bryce Canyon!
